Doug Olney

I started camping as a kid with the Boy Scouts and later with the Appalachian Mountain Club. I graduated to a recreational vehicle when I bought a tent camper in the late 60s. Over the years, I have owned and used every type of recreational vehicle built. Today I own a large travel trailer that I use on a seasonal campsite. My three children and grandchild often visit my wife and I at the campground.

I am the past president of two local Good Sam Chapters and a Coachmen R.V. Club. It was my association with the camping clubs that got me interested in R.V. sales. I'd often help members of our club shop for a rig. I was doing this so often, I ended up getting a part-time job with a local dealer in the mid-70s. In 1983, I landed a full-time position with Arlington and have been here ever since.

My demeanor is extremely low key, so low key, in fact, that I am often chided by my co-workers about being TOO relaxed! But I promise you, I will listen to you carefully and be as informative as any sales person anywhere. What's more, we'll probably end up being friends rather than just have a "customer/salesperson" relationship.
